What to Expect in a Soundbath

Imagine lying down comfortably, wrapped in warmth, as waves of soothing sound flow over you. Welcome to a soundbath - a place where you simply rest, and experience the healing vibrations of sound.

Getting Started

When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed into a peaceful space designed for relaxation. You’ll typically lie down on a yoga mat or sit in a chair, with blankets and cushions to keep you comfortable.

The Soundbath Session

My sessions are guided from start to finish, so you can lay back and enjoy the experience. I begin with an easy to follow breathing exercise to help ease you into relaxation, followed by a guided meditation, suited to the needs of the group.  No experience is necessary for either of these as I guide you all the way through before flowing into the soundbath.. I have a wide variety of Sound Healing instruments inc Crystal Tones Alchemy Singing Bowls, Tibetan Singing Bowls, Various Chimes, Shruti, Gong, Drum and more. And I will use whatever is appropriate for the session. These sounds aren’t just heard with your ears; they’re felt throughout your entire body, creating a vibrational experience that helps you deeply unwind. Rooted in years of training, knowledge, and experience, my soundbaths are both gentle and powerful. They offer a deeply nourishing space where subtlety becomes transformative.

No Experience Needed

There’s no right or wrong way to experience a sound bath! Some people drift into a meditative state, some simply enjoy the deeply restful stillness, and some are taken on a journey with sound, allowing the body to awaken memories from certain sounds or feel emotions gently shifting to a healthier way of feeling.   Every session is unique, and your body will respond in a way  that it needs.

After the Sound Bath

As the session gently comes to an end, you’ll have a few moments to rest in silence before slowly reawakening. Many people feel lighter, clearer, and more refreshed and energised, while others experience a deep sense of calm that lasts long after the session.  Quite often people leave feeling lighter and ready for the world again. A sound bath is an invitation to pause, reset, and reconnect with yourself. Whether it’s your first time or part of your regular self-care routine, each experience brings something new. We all need the regular stillness that therapeutic sound can bring.  It creates a dedicated space and time where our minds and bodies can come back into a place of regulation, this then supports the body work in the amazing way that it can. Let's journey together and embrace the gift of rest, relaxation and rejuvenation.
